Hi, I'm Aaron!
I'm an architectural designer and artist based in Toronto with a background from the Glasgow School of Art. My work combines architectural thinking with experimentation through glitch art, using digital distortion to explore how memory is fragile, layered, and constantly shifting. By manipulating photographs, I treat glitches as metaphors for the instability of memory, creating abstractions that invite reflection and reveal the beauty in distortion and reinterpretation.
About Me
Welcome to Glitch Studio
Hi, I’m Aaron, the artist behind Glitch Studio. My work explores distortion, memory, and transformation, using glitch to turn fragments and imperfections into vivid, unexpected art.
My Story
I began my journey at the Glasgow School of Art, where I first explored distortion as a way of reflecting memory’s shifting nature. Inspired by artists like Felipe Pantone and Georg Guðni, I’ve developed a practice that transforms fragments and imperfections into vivid, living works. Glitch is my language for turning what is unstable into something beautiful.
What I Do
I work with glitch as both process and language, using distortion to break apart and reassemble images in unexpected ways. My pieces strip away preconceived perceptions, revealing new forms that challenge how we see, remember, and experience the world.
